Residential Life

An on-campus hostel facility provides students from far off places, especially those from other nations with a sense of safety and belongingness. But, the benefits of hostel life are not merely limited to acting as a shelter home..

We remain plentifully pleased with hundreds of parents to have trusted our school as the best International Residential School in Karaikudi. A dorm parent has more of an invested role. We care for our children to such an extent that we treat them like our own. CVM boarding provides a unique structured home like experience that helps students become independent citizens. World class amenities and learning environment contributes tremendously on the overall development of our borders..

Life in the hostel is much disciplined. Children learn to live in an organized manner as there are fixed times for waking up, eating, play, sleeping and so on. This also ensures that their bio clock is not disturbed Since most hostel rooms are available on a sharing basis, children learn the importance of cooperation..

A hostel life keeps at bay feelings of loneliness as children are able to make new friends and are almost always surrounded by them. This also allows a child, especially the introverts to push past their comfort zones and develop meaningful relationships. Hostel life is also conducive to study as children of similar age-groups can come together in groups, sort out each others’ queries, exchange books, and so on. The hostel rooms are spacious and furnished with comfortable beds, allotted on a sharing basis of two or three students per room. Residential facility houses a TV and a common study area. The common dining hall is the place where students enjoy wholesome meals together, offered from a varied menu that caters to the tastes of both Indian and International boarders.

A hygienic and fully staffed kitchen prepares food which is wholesome and nutritious. Staff and students relish a wide-ranging menu every day, in a very clean dining hall. Up to date kitchen and dining hall facilities. Hygienically prepared wholesome vegetarian and non- vegetarian food. A contemporary and clean kitchen provides balanced, wholesome and delicious vegetarian and non-vegetarian food of Indian styles under the vigilance and guidance of qualified and experienced catering staff. The dining area is very large and well ventilated. To avoid monotony and recurrence of taste the menu is changed every week.

There’s a lot more that goes into this. We make sure:

  1. They’re eating right
  2. Sleeping well
  3. Studying
  4. Taking their medication (if they’re on any)
  5. Speaking to their parents and not dismissing their calls
  6. They have a healthy social life
  7. And they aren’t going through emotional trauma and aren’t talking about it.
